Captain "Skully" holds a Master Captains License issued by the Merchant Mariners  and United States Coast Guard.  His time on the water started in 1982 Sailing Catamarans on the Lakes around the Sierra Nevada Mountains.  In 1984 he began sailing the coastal waters off California, Florida, Mexico and the Caribbean.  Sailing as master, operator and crew on many vessels from 24-60 feet, including many crossing to Catalina and

San Clemente Island...  He has been the proud owner and master of the sailing yacht 

"Breath of an Angel" since 2004.

Captain David “Skully” Mora loves to share his knowledge gained from his time at sea with anyone who may have a desire to learn more about sailing and the ocean. He will share with comfort and ease making it feel like you too have been to sea with him many times.​
